Responsible Business Practice
At JEPA, we promote Responsible Business Practice
WORKING TOWARDS IMPROVING OUR BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT
At JEPA, we aim to assist our members to grow sustainably and to redefine their business models in terms of positive impact on people, the environment and revenue.
In cooperation with CBI and other partners with JEPA, we established a committee for the promotion of responsible business practices. This Committee provides guidance on how to help raise awareness among our members and in the sector and comes up with initiatives for improving our business environment.
JEPA’s RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICE COMMITTEE MEMBERS
“As part of the CSR committee at JEPA, I can feel the changes in my farm. The changes in laborer’s minds, they understand that they are members of this family and we all work together to reach success. They now understand their rights, they can speak freely about their needs and they know I listen and this all reflects on our work positively”
“CSR is a win-win situation for both the company and employees. Employees benefit from the good CSR practices and the company benefits from an increased employee loyality, a better working environment and a better overall image.”
“CSR is not something that we need to implement; it is something that we already do on a daily basis but need to improve. At my farm, an example of CSR is during the Covid-19 crisis, making sure my employees always get their rights, are paid in time and all their needs are fulfilled regardless of this current situation. This kind of behavior will eventually benefit the company and employees”
