Smart growth in exportable production focuses on quality Safe produce that is a basic requirement from both the consumers and the importers. In 2019, 47162.7 tons of peaches were exported.

COMPANIES & STRUCTURE

Apart from many smaller scale producers, who mainly sell in the local markets, two exporters stand out: Yousef Al Serhan Farms and Shaker Al Zaben Farms. Both companies manage the entire chain from production to exports.

PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

Yousef Al Serhan stated,

“This business has been created by my father. When I started managing it, I started looking for new technological advancements to add to the farm. I introduced new varieties, packaging and sorting machines. We also participated in trade fairs and started making connections to explore various markets.”
